Naissance

I come into the world. Nothing much to add.

2010

First video edit

Armed with the family camcorder and Windows Movie Maker, I make my first video edit. It is no masterpiece, but I discover the freedom of creating something myself, without anyone’s help. A passion is born.

2013

Australie

I am still young, 19, but I badly want to go far away. Off to Australia. I start with odd jobs, then land a role as an Audio and Video Technician at an events company. After a year I come home, fluent in English.

2014

Digital exploration

I have a computer in my bedroom and a cracked copy of the Adobe suite. I spend entire nights working through YouTube tutorials, thinking “This is amazing — you can really do all of this?”

2015

University of California San Diego

I join an exchange programme with UCSD. I take classes in video editing, computer science and internet industries. I start working on professional equipment and edit videos for the renowned Scripps Institution of Oceanography.

2017

European Space Agency

Final-year internship at the ESA in Cologne, Germany. I work as a video editor, my After Effects animations are watched by astronauts, and I meet Thomas Pesquet — a kind of waking dream.

2018

Madrid

I leave to work as a French teacher at a secondary school in Madrid. It is different from my usual experience, but it is fun. I come back fluent in Spanish.

2019

Hemblem (aujourd'hui Baracuda)

I am hired as a videomaker at Hemblem, a Paris start-up. Within six months I become Head of Production, running a team of around fifteen talents: photographers, graphic designers, motion designers and developers.

2021

Freelance

I leave the company to go freelance. At first I mostly do video and motion design. One day I sign up for an online front-end development bootcamp. It grips me, and I devour it in a few weeks.

2024

Aujourd’hui

Today I combine everything I have learnt to build fully bespoke websites. Beyond creating custom sites, I produce the graphic assets myself, so my clients get an experience that belongs to them alone.
